ST.THERESA'S MATRICULATION SCHOOL, KARUR

HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL – 1967 TO 2010


St.Theresa's Preparatory School was established in 1967 with 3 to 8

students under the incharge of the Headmistress Sr.Rosy L.K.G to Std II were

handled by the Anglo Indian teachers. A team of 12 teachers worked during

the Period.

In 1984, Sr.Irine took charge of this Institution. She worked up to 1988.

The school functioned in the old block opposite to the convent. It was

recognized as a matriculation school in 1988. Sr.Annie took charge for the

teachers.

Mother General Sr.Rani took over in 1989. Sr.Catherine was incharge

from Jan 1990. Sr.Reeta took incharge in June 1990 when the office was

shifted to the building nearby the church. From June 1991 to 1993 Sr.Chandra

was the Principal Std X was introduced in 1993. Sr.Cecilia was incharge for

one year from 1993 to 1994. Library and Laboratory were installed in that

period. Games teachers were appointed. Sr.Victoria of Hr.Sec.School took

incharge of drawing and craft. First batch of X students appeared for Public

Exam in March 1994. Our students proved their talents by securing centum

result from 1994 to 2000. There is an increase in the school strength every

year. Sr.Nirmal Theresa was incharge for 1 ½ year from June 1994 to Jan

1996. During that period she constructed the convent, hostel and inaugurated

them. She was a good administrator. All the festivals Deepavali, Christmas,

Pongal, Ramzan were celebrated. Sr.Regi took incharge of Institution in Jan

1996 to 1997.

Sr.Philominal was incharge from June 1997 to April 2000. The new

building construction began in 1998. All the teachers and students contributed

their one day service for the building construction. Inauguration was on

09.02.2000 under the Presidentship of Superior General Mother Ravishankar

Publication and Sri Ram Tex of Ramesh Babu donated Rupees one lakh each

for the building construction. Many public people, textile owners, well wishers,

parents have contributed towards the building construction.

Sr.Frank was the Principal from June 2000 to May 2005. Every year our

student contributed clothes, money and sweetmeats for the Old age,

Orphanage, Earthquake victims. All the festivals, National festivals were


celebrated in Grand manner every year, Handwriting, Karate, Yoga classes wer

introduced.

Sr.Gerard took incharge as Principal from June 2005 to Sep 2006 for 1½

years. Strict administration, increase of strength was maintained. Discipline

shield was allotted for the best class. Students distributed biscuits, toilet

articles to the Orphanage, Old age home and the patients of Govt.Hospital,

Karur.

Rev.Sr.Reeta inspected all the classes. Spoken English classes were

introduced by the Institute of Language Management, Bangalore for the

development of Spoken English skills. Importance was given to National

festivals and religious festivals which were celebrated grandly.

Sr.Paula was the Principal from Oct 2006 to May 2007. Scholastic book

fair was held and children were encouraged to purchase books for their

Ianguage development. Two teachers and students attended the AIDS

Awareness programme. Counselling seminar was held for the teachers.

The Principal post was taken up by Rev.Sr.Josephine Annal Amali

(Sr.Alwyn) on 5 th June 2007. Rev.Sr. is a very young, enthusiastic, energetic

and active person. She encouraged Spoken English through ILM, Bangalore.

Orientation course for 10 th handling teachers was conducted by the

Government for Karur district under here guidance. Her motivation and flexible

nature is a good on for the teachers, students and society. They were

benefited mentally, physically, economically and spiritually. Radio Programmes

participants and AIDS Awareness programmes were honoured by her.

In July – Aug 2007 Science project were undertaken by Science teacher

through National Science under her supervision. One of the projects forwarded

by Ms.Sabeena towards the preparation of paper from the banana stem, was

selected at State Level. Later in Dec. 2007 it was ranked in very good category

at National level held at Baramah; Pune Dist, Maharashtra.

In Sep.2007 the senior staff Ms.Chellammal was awarded the

Dr.Radhakrishnan Best Teacher Award through the TamilNadu Government.

She was awarded a silver Medal and cash Rs.5000/- She is the first person to

receive this award in the whole of Presentation convent Matric Schools.


Bharathanatiyam, Keyboard, Yoga, Gymnastics Chess, Tack Wondo,

Karate, Craft work were implemented for the students to develop their various

skill.

The old block was demolished in May 2009. Foundation for the new

building was laid in June 2009. During the period of Rev.Sr.Alwyn, it was the

greatest and marvellous milestone in the history of St.Theresa's Matric School

that a huge building consisting of three storeys was constructed and

inaugurated on was successfully blessed by the Bishop of Coimbatore Most

Rev.Dr.L.Thomas Acquinas M.A., D.C.L and it was opened by our Superior

General Very.Rev.Mother.Celine Nirmala from the Presentation Convent,

Coimbatore and the lamp was lighted by Rev.Sr.Loraine the Provincial of

Francisco Province, Chennai.

Another blissful pride which took St.Theresa's to the heights of Victory

was the greatest achievement of District Second in Karur by Su.Ga.Anjali

securing 487/500. During the year 2009 – 10, she also brought laurels by

securing State first in social studies and Dist first in Tamil.

The lasting yearns and desire of St.Theresa's was finally fulfilled by

inaugurating and upgrading the school with Std XI (Plus one) on the 21 st of

June 2010. Praises to the Almighty. This credit goes to our Principal and to

the X handling staff of our school.


PROFILE OF THE YEAR 2013 – 2014


The School reopened on 10 th June 2013. The former Principal

Rev.Sr.Anita Joseph got relieved from her service and Rev.Sr.Theresa took in

charge as the Principal on 26 th June 2013.

INDUCTION CEREMONY :

We had the induction ceremony in June. Students from 6 th to 12 th

elected S.Krishnakumar of Std XII as the S.P.L. & S.Raghul of X as the

A.S.P.L. These leaders took up the oath to carry out their duties sincerely &

honestly.

CLUBS :

We have various clubs to bring up the talents of the students. To initiate

we had the inaugural function of English & Tamil Literary Association with

Dr.J.W.Tamilselvi B.S.M.S., Medical Officer in Govt. Hospital, Karur as a Chief

Guest.

Other clubs such as Human Rights, Green Club, Junior Red Cross

enhances the students to impart their regular activities.

SPORTS :

Yoga, Karathe & Gymnastics are another feature in which our students

have excelled greatly.

International and State Level Karate Championship J.Arthur Wilson of

VIII 'C' has secured 3 rd place at Vasavi Mahal, Trichy & S.Dharun of std VII 'A'

in Karathe Tournament.

Girls under 17 participated in District Level and Divisional Level

gymnastics in which D. Yohasri of VIII 'C' won 1 st prize and all over

championship and A.Infanto Vino of IX ‘B’ secured the first prize. State Level

soft Ball Tennis L.Joel Manuel of VIII 'C' won Ist prize and overall

championship.

A. Adaline Sharon of VIII 'A' is a District winner in shuttle Badminton. In

Beach Volley Ball G.Radhakrishnan and D.Pradeep of VIII 'A' were declared

winner under District and Divisional Level. They are selected for State Level

also. Boys Ball Badminton Junior and Super Senior were declared as Zonal

winner. The Junior boys under 14 th where considered as District winners. Boys

under 19 were declared as runners in Ball Badminton.


In High Jump P.Logeshwaran of X 'B' secured I st Place and R.Sathiesh

Kumar of IX 'A' secured II nd place. P.Logeshwaran won II nd Place in Tripple

Jump in Zonal M.Rohith Kannan of IX 'B' was declared winner as State Level.

In Karathe Fight S.Dharun of VII ‘A’ secured I st place and J.Arthur Wilson of VIII

'C' secured II nd place. In Katta also S.Dharun of VII ‘A’ secured I st place.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES :

On 18 th Oct 2013 a science exhibition was held in our school. The best

three from Std VI to XII were awarded prizes. In Science Project for Anti Global

Warming conducted at P.A.Vidhya Bhavan D.R.Girl of Std XII secured II nd prize.

S.V.Jaya Varsha of Std IV th won the III rd Prize in “Design a Stamp contest”

conducted by Department of Post. In District Level Science Exhibition our

students L.Joel Manuel & S.Karthikeyan of Std VIII secured the 3 rd prize and

were awarded shield and certificates for their Science Project – titled “BIO-

PLASTICS by Mr.Senthil Balaji MLA, and Tamil Nadu Govt. Transport Minister.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

On Independence day 82 students of our school won the III rd prize in

Dance Competition and this prize was awarded by our District Collector.

In August 1 st week Hand writing classes were conducted for 12 days

from Std I to XII.

Celebrating the peace loving message of spreading joy and peace

during Christmas season was emphasized by the staff and students during

Christmas celebration. Similarly the importance of Diwali, Pongal, Ramzan,

Children’s Day and Teacher’s Day was brought out by teachers and Students

enthusiastically.

HEALTH AND HYGIENE

An Eye camp was conducted for our students by the Velan Eye Hospital.

For Japanese Brain Fever our students from Std I to X were injected in the

month of October which was forwarded by Tamil Nadu State Govt. to eradicate

Brain Fever.

Life skill program was attended by our Teachers at P.M.H.S School and

it was conducted for our students by means of various competitions to create

awareness among the students and the winners were awarded the prizes.


SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENTS :

I am proud to say that we achieved a glorious centum result in the X

Matric and 97% in XII Public examination 2012 – 2013 with K.Vishnu Priya &

D.Mathew Winston Vikash scaling the highest securing 489 out of 500,

M.Ruban Francis obtained the II Place securing 487 out of 500 and D.Pavithra,

A.S.Nachiyar the third with 486 marks out of 500. 17 students secured above

480 ad 52 students secured above 450. In XII Public Examination the first

topper V.Ruba Devi secured 1089/1200, G.Ramya secured II Place with

1081/1200 and K.Santhanam secured IV place with 1058/1200. Std X & XII

Handling Teachers were awarded Shields & Certificates by our Tamil Nadu

Transport Minister Mr.Senthil Balaji MLA at Atlas Arangam.

The great milestone of this year is the fixation of camera for all the

classes.


HISTORY OF OUR SCHOOL JANUARY TO JUNE 2014


Celebration :

World Water Day was observed on 22 nd March 2014. Students were

advised about usage of water and not to waste it.

Public Exam Results :

In the Public exam 2014 STD XII secured centum results, S.Sneka of

Commerce group secured the I Rank with 1111 marks out of 1200, T.Vaishnavi

the II with 1091/1200 and S.Indhu the III with 1089/1200. S.Sneka secured

200/200 in Commerce.

In STD X 2014 our school secured 99.5%. S.Raghul the school topper

secured 491/500, S.Dhivya Harini the Second securing 490/500, R.Sona Maria

Rajan and V.S.Sahina Sahanas secured the Third Place with 489/500. 62

students out of 82 secured above 400 marks.


Restoration :

The following were taken up in May 2014 :

? Renovations of old block back side pillars and the old Rain-water

harvesting pit.

? Construction of Rain-water harvesting pit in the new block.

? Windows for the labs were fixed and painted

? Painting work was done on the front side of the old block


Seminars :

On 30 th May a seminar with adoration was conducted for the teachers by

Rev.Fr.Maria Antony Puliyur. It was based on the parable of the fig tree. The

theme is ‘wait and see’ with positive result for the growth of every child

especially the slow learners.

On 21 st June Rev.Fr.S.J.Packiaraj from Tirupur conducted a one-day

seminar for teachers on three R.S.Reasons, Religion, Relationship. He insisted

the teachers to have BELIEF without which LIE will occur.

June 6 th to 13 th was observed as Rain-Water Harvesting week. Drawing,

essay-writing competitions and rally were conducted.

On 7 th July 2014 a Scientific Evaluation of Education Ministry of our

congregation was held with five members from students, teachers, non-

teaching staff, and parents. Sr.Flora Grace the Principal of Little Flower Matric.

Higher Secondary School, Kattur evaluated the same.


HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL DECEMBER 2016 TO JANUARY 2018

Rev.Fr.Henry Lawrence of Parish Priest of Carmel Church

Pasupathipalayam presided over the Christmas function on 5 th Dec 2016.

Rev.Sr.Odilia the Provincial paid a visit to our school and motivated the

teachers with innovative ideas about teaching profession on 12 th Dec. 2016.

On 4 th Jan. 2017 Rev.Sr.Victoria visited our school and insisted the

students about the moral values.

On 13 th Feb. 2017 students from LKG to Std X were vaccinated with

Measles Rubella injection.

A new school van was purchased on 9 th May 2017 for the transport

convenience of our students coming from long distances.

In May 2017 the patch work of the old building, and renovation of the

restroom was carried out.

During June 2017 the railing and the jolly work was initiated with the

construction and erection of St.Theresa’s statue.

During 2016-2017, 10 th and 12 th Public exam 84 students of Std 10 th

attained a centum result with P. Arulmozhi the toppest scorer with 496/500

marks, S.Mispha the II topper with 487/500. Std 12 th secured 96% with

S.Shalini the toppest securing 1120/1200, P.Ravikumar the II topper with

1101/1200 and S.Kanimozhi the III topper with 1078/1200.

2018 TO 2019


In May 2018 the entire school building was painted neatly.

During 2017-18, public exam the batch of 60 students of Std XII secured

97% results. N.Lakshmi Devi achieved the school toppest place with

1158/1200 marks, M.Sivaranjani the second topper secured 1144/1200 and

M.Ruban Disosaw the third topper with 1086/1200 marks. All belong to the

Commerce Stream. Likewise the team of 57 Students of Std X in Public Exam

secured 98% in which A.R.Harshavardhini the 1 st topper, secured 484/500,

S.Dinesh Iyyappan the 2 nd topper secured 476/500 and M.Shalini the 3 rd topper

with 473/500. In Std XI Public Exam 54 students made us proud by securing

Centum results. S.Lalithambigai the School toppest secured 574/600 Marks,

S.Srinithi the second topper with 543/600 and T.Berthina the third topper with

490/600.

A. Bhuvaneshwaran of X B and M.Mohammed Ajmeer IX B participated

as players and were selected for state level as juniors in Ball Badminton

Championship held at Kavery Engineering College, Salem. In sports ‘Father

and Son’ Badminton Tournament at District level held at Vengamedu, Karur.

V.K.Surendhar of 10 th B won 3 rd Prize in January 2018. In District level Round

Traff Volley ball Match held at NSN College our boys under the age of 14 from

6 th to 9 th were declared winners. Boys under 17 were declared as runners in

Volley Ball Match held at Vetri Vinayaga School. Girls under 17 were qualified

for Semi Finals. Under 14 boys & girls & under 17 boys & girls Ball Badminton

were declared Runners at Zonal Level. P.G.Siva Sabari VIII-B won 2 nd Prize at

Zonal Level Chess competition.

Our Students exhibit their talents in various competitions held outside

the school M.Deerthika of 3 rd B won I Prize at District level in Singing

competition held at Trichy. In the competitions held at St.Theresa’s Girls

Hr.Sec.School, J.Abiya Joan of 9 th B bagged the I Prize in Singing Folk Song,

J.B.Nishitha Lyvis of 6 th B Won I Prize in Story Telling R.Lakshmi Priya of 7 th B

won III Prize in Bharathanatiyam.

On August 3 rd 2018 our Choir group won 3 rd Prize in musical competition

held by Youth For Christ at CSI Boys School. J. Abiya Jon won 2rd Prize in

Preaching the Gospel and Prize in Solo Singing.


The Annual report of year 2019-2020


I. Introduction:

The honourable Chief Guest Thiru.L.Senthurpandi the

Proprietor of Vijaya Krishna Home Needs, Gandhigramam Karur.

The Guest of Honor Rev. Fr. Sebastin Durai parish priest of

St.Theresa’s church Karur, our Special Guest Thiru. P. Velumani

the Revenue Inspector- our PTA President, Rev. Fathers, sisters,

our beloved Parents, my dearest teaching and non teaching staff,

the charming students of our school, and all the well-wishers! With

consent, I present the Annual Report of our school for the academic

year 2019 -2020. Our School has completed 52 fruitful years with

various Achievements and Glories. At the outset, we thank the

Almighty God for all the blessings showered on us during these

great years.

With high expectation and excitements, the year commenced

on 3 rd June 2019 with an inter-religious prayer service invoking the

blessings of the Almighty.

2. Theme of the Year:

The Theme of the year was taken as "Read to Lead” which

has been committed to create a good environment in the school to

help the young minds blossom to be good citizens in future.

3. Scholastic Excellence:

The school has 680 students on its roll comprising 341 girls

and 339 boys.The school has well-qualified and trained staff

consisting 34 teaching staff, and 15 Non teaching staff to impart the

best quality education and personal care possible to our young

scholars. Various seminars and workshops were organised by the

school so as to improve the transaction skills and to update their

capabilities.

4. Academic Results:

I am very proud to say that during the academic year 2018-

2019 our students of 10 th , 11 th , 12 th brought tremendous CENTUM

results in the Board Examinations. In class 10 M.Harini, in class 11

V.E.Sanjay and in class 12 S.Lalithambigai were the first toppers

respectively.

On this occasion I would like to appreciate all the X to XII

handling teachers for their sincere commitment, dedication, selfless

effort and service rendered to the students which has brought

centum results in the board examinations.

5. Investiture ceremony:

The much awaited event of the year, the Investiture Ceremony

was held on 17 th July 2019. The newly elected cabinet were

adorned with badges. It instilled leadership qualities in students and

opened many opportunities to experience the administrative

powers. On the same day, we have inaugurated Association of

Tamil, English, Maths, Science and Social science.

6. Extracurricular activities:

The holistic development of each student is the prime aim of

the school. Hence students are encouraged to participate and

display their abilities through various competitions such as slogan

writing, English recitation, Essay writing, Handcraft, Raw cooking,

Flower arrangement, Rangoli, News reading, Solo singing, Solo

dance and Fancy dress competition. Science, Social and Maths

exhibitions were held on 31st October 2019 and it gives

importance to their talents and invention to insist the interest of

learning.

Even for outside competitions our students have created great

record.


? A. Syed Zameer of class 8 won the first place in Quiz

Competition on 11 th October 2019, and B. Boomika of

class 12 won the 3 rd place in 47 rd Jawaharlal Nehru


Science Exbihition in a seminar for her presentation on

“Periodic classification of elements deals with maths” on

15 th October 2019 in 47 th Jawaharlal Nehru Science

and Maths Environmental Exhibition.


At this juncture I congratulate all the students for participating in

various competitions held in and outside the school.

7. Celebrations and festivity:

National festivals and days of Nation, and school importance

were celebrated with festivity; such as World Environmental day

fy;tp tsh;r;rp ehs;, Independence day, teacher’s day, school feast

day, Diwali, Ramzan, Christmas, Pongal, Children’s day, National

Education day, Indian Constitutional day, UNO day, National Unity

day, Swatch Bharat Swatch Vidhyalaya Abhiyan Day, and Girls

safety day. We also celebrate children’s birthday in a special

manner in the school Assembly every day.

8. Award winning ceremony:

To commemorate the children’s day all the students were

awarded with medals and certificates for their participation in all the

competitions on 14 th November 2019 .

9.Sports and games:

Our school encourages and maintains the sports man-ship of

its students, knowing the fact that without physical development, no

other development is possible. Sports week was organized from 26 th

to 31 st of August, 2019. The National Sports day was conducted, on

29 th of August 2019 where Inter-house matches were held and

students had the opportunity to participate in various games and

sports such as Kho-kho, Volley ball, Throw Ball, Ball Badminton

and many individual events. The overall championship for this year

was won by the Red House. Students and incharge teachers of Red

House were awarded with a Trophy. The participants displayed their

talents with team spirit and sports man-ship.


BALL BADMINTON: At Zonal level boys under 17 were

declared winners at District level under the leadership of M.

Mohammed Ajmeer of Class 10. They are selected for state Level

and are awaiting to show their sportive spirit and talent.

Boys and girls under 14 and girls under 17 have

achieved the first runner up magnificently.

CHESS: P.G. Shiva Subhari of class 9 under 14 won the

first place at Zonal level on 8 th August 2019 and has also won the

District level competition on 30 th October 2019. He has made an

entry in the State Level team.

KARATHE AND YOGA:

It’s a great delight to say that our school focuses on art

of self defence such as Karathe and spiritual benefits by yoga.

M.P. Dharshan of class 7 won 1 st place. M.J. Chidroop of

class 7 won the 2 nd place, H. Patrick Sam of class 10 and S.

Dharun of class 7 secured the 3 rd place in 30 th State Level Bodokan

Karathe match held on 11 th August 2019. Likewise H. Patrick Sam

secured the 2 nd place and M.J. Chidroop of class 7 the 3 rd place in 8 th

Tamil Nadu State Level School, College Open Karathe

Championship on13th October 2019.

In Yoga K. Mounesh of class 2 nd won the first place at

District level and for is selected for National Level.

SILAMBAM:

S. Somasundharam of class 5 registered his name in

Noble World Record on 29 th September 2019 for non-stop playing of

Silambam.

10. Student Enrichment Program:

To ensure that our students are equipped to face any

challenge, we have focused on few STUDENT ENRICHMENT

PROGRAMS as follows.


? On 20 th July 2019 A seminar on mass media was

organized by Dr.Ramesh M.S. D.O. D.N.B of Arthi Eye

Hospital, Karur .

? A Seminar on Petroleum Conservation and Rain Water

harvesting was conducted by Mr. Jeyam Senthil Kumar

of Petroleum Conservation Department on 14 th August

2019.

? On 31 st August 2019 an awareness program was

conducted on “Health and hygiene” by Dr. Surya Prabha

of Government Medical College Hospital Karur

? A medical check up was organised by the Health

Department of Tamil Nadu on 31 st August 2019.

? A seminar was conducted on Personality Development

by our staff Mr. B. Saravanan and Mr. S. Dinesh kumar

on 14 th November 2019 to Enhance the ability to

improve their personal skills.

11. Parental enrichment Programme:

An Orientation Programme on “Parental Care” was organized

for the parents of classes 10 th to 12 th it in the month of July. It was

appreciated by all the parents. A seminar on “Child abuse “was

conducted for the parents of LKG, UKG classes, in order to create

awareness among the parent.

12. Skills enhancement programs :

I feel honour to state that this year our school has introduced

a traditional and ancient Art called "kz;zpd; fiyfs; "where the children

get to know the ghuk;gupa fiyfs; and are trained by the special

organisation called " Swasam blowing for society , Chennai. I render

my special thanks to Mr.Honestraj and his team for sowing the

seeds of the same in lives of the children.

13. Save Environment:


We inculcate in students to have new outlook towards

agriculture and environment. They gain sufficient knowledge about

the nature by different awareness programme by which they come

to know the difficulties and hard work involved in the lives of farmers

of Delta district. We also create love towards the environment by

following the activities of free plastic campus, No to junk food and

to plant at least a plant a year.

14. Syllabus and curriculum:

The school strictly follows the syllabus and curriculum of

Samacheerkalvi. The syllabus and examination pattern are set in

such a way that the students are not overburdened and when they

reach the higher secondary school, they are able to stand on their

own feet. With complete involvement teachers are teaching the

students with sociable responsibility. We are proud to say that they

are spiritually, morally, physically, emotionally, socially and

intellectually developed to cope up with the society in which they

live and become a responsible person in the world.

Thrice a year parents-teachers meeting is conducted for every

class, to get to know about their children's performance and I

cordially appreciate the parents for their continuous support and

suggestions.


HISTORY – 2021 – 2022


With full of prayer and divinity the year commenced on 2 nd June 2022.

Our school has completed 54 fruitful year with various achievement and

Glories.

After the release of Lockdown school reopened on 1 st September 2021

for the classes 9 th to 12 th . From Health Department Mr.Sakthivel – Thasildhar

and Mrs.Shanthi DI visited our school and appreciated for cleanliness.

Scholastic Excellence :

The School has well qualified 36 Teaching staff, 18 Non teaching staff to

impart the best quality Education and personal hygienic care to our young


pillars. Useful seminars and webinars were conducted by the school to impart

awareness and also to improve the transaction skill and to update their

capabilities.

Academic :

XII Public Exam Result was released by our government. We Secured

99% result for the Academic year 2022. S.Sharmila Secured I Place with

590/600 S.Prity Secured centum in three subjects.

XI Public Exam Result was released by our government. We secured

100% Result for the Academic year 2022. M. John Prithivin Secured I Place

with 546/600, M.Dhilip Secured II Place with 543/600 and J.Ramavishahini

Secured III Place with 497/600 Rev.Sr.Principal congratulated all the XI

handing teachers for centum Result. She provided Snacks & Tea for all the

Teachers.

X Public Exam Result was released by our government. We secured

Extra Curricular Activities :

Engineering Salem. T. Tanika our student won the medal & Certificate.

Silabam Academy Mettur conducted competition our student A Ruth

Yuvanjalan of III-A won the I Place.

Bharathi Silambam Namakkal conducted competition our student

V.L.Mathisai of VI B won Ist prize and received meld & Certificate.


International Silambam Committee organized 2 nd International Silambam

Championship 2022. Out School Student A Ruth Yuvanjalan of III-A won the II

Webinars and Seminars :

On 25 th & 26 th June webinar was conducted by presentation Convent

Sisters regarding Covid Awareness.

On 28 th June A Webinar was conducted by presentation convent sisters

for XII Students.

On 23 rd to 27 August presentation convent sisters conducted seminar

regarding counselling and guidelines. Our staff attended the seminar through

zoom meet.

On 28 th August Presentation Convent Sisters arranged Zoom Seminar

regarding. Child parliament Mrs. S.Kavitha & Mr.M.Venkatesh attended the

meeting.

On 23 rd September DEO conducted Zoom / Google meet for all the

Principals regarding Teachers and students EMIS uploading.

On 7 th December A webinar was conducted by our congregation sisiters.

Prayer is man's greatest power:


With full of prayer and divinity the year commenced

on 13 th june 2023 for std I to X and 20 th june for L.K.G and U.K.G kids

and also for XII . our school has completed 55 fruitful years with

various achievements and glories.


Scholastic excellence:


Our school has well qualified 28 teaching staff, 10 Non – teaching

staff to impart the best quality education and personal care possible

to our young scholars. Various seminars and webinars were

conducted by the school to improve the transaction skills and to

update their abilities.

XII public exam result was released by our government. We

secured 100% result for the academic year 2023. JOHN PRITHVIN M

secured 1 st place with 578/600 . He also secured centum in

Accountancy, Commerce, Economics. BHARANI S secured IInd place

558/600 the toppers were appreciated all the XII handling teachers.


XI public exam result was released by our government . we

secured 96% result for the academic year 2023. SUBIKSHA S . S

secured 1 st place with 555/600 . MEGAVARSHINI secured IInd place

527/600 .


X public exam result was released by our government . we

secured 99% result for the academic year 2023. VERLIN RAFAEL . G 1 st

place with 475/500 AND CHITHROOP M . I secured IInd place

465/500.

second place in Nedum Kambu Veechu, held at SDAT Katpadi Vellore.


VISHWA R of IV A won the 11 th place in district level open rapid chess

tournament at karur poly technic college.


International level ABACUS competition was conducted at Madurai .

Banedict of IX B won the medal at Madurai.


RS KOWSICK of III B won the 1 st place in AGNI OPEN skating

championship at karur.

2 nd AUGUST our principal REV.SR.LEEMA SUMATHI arranged a

seminar for classes from IX XII by REV.FR.AROKIYA DOSS professor in

visual communication department in anugraha college Dindigul.


4 th FEB - A seminar was conducted for classes from IX to XII , on the

basis of exam motivation.


Students are motivated and encouraged to display their abilities

through various competitions.


State level open speed skating competition was conducted at

Pulimpatti. Our school student KREETH KIRAN R of UKG B won the

first place .


Rotary club of karur wings conducted competitions .

RUTHYUVANJOLIN A of IV A won the 1 st prize in the international

silambam competition. M . VERONICA of III A won the 1 st prize in

silambam competition.


JUVIN AROKIYA RAJ V of V has been future in DINATHANTHI paper for

drawing.

A FESTIVAL IS A TIME FOR US TO COME TOGETHER AND

CELEBRATE OUR COMMON HUMINITY


Though the year started party due to pandemic period god

graced us with blessing to celebrate the following functions.


National festivals and days of nation and school importance were

celebrated with festivity such as world environmental day.

Independence day, teachers day, school feast day, Diwali, ramzan,

Christmas, pongal children's day,national educational day and Ayudha

pooja in our school campus with the presence of all teachers.


9 th November openday was organized in our school by our principal.

Children participated in subject wise in various programmes such as

drama , dance & fancy dress for kids . science department students

displayed various experiments and models.


Our REV.SR.LEEMA SUMATHI organised awrd and reward function on

Feb 22 nd . the tiny dots were appreciated and motivated . medals and

certificate were issued.


On 1 st April graduationceremony was celebrated . the chief guest who

presided our function was PMJF LION MR. S. SETHUKUMAR EX.

DISTRICT GOVERNOR , LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL , KARUR. Our

special guest was REV.FR>MARIA ANTONY LAWRENCE , THE PARISH

PRIEST OF ST. ST.THERESA'S CHURCH, KARUR. The parental guest was

MR. RAJA merchandisers, ATLAS chambers , Karur.
